CARL + SAMMI'S WEDDING - THE MILL, MADELEY COURT HOTEL, TELFORD

I love photographing weddings! Being given the honour of capturing a couple on one of the happiest days of their lives, is an awesome feeling. Seeing two people being so happy and surrounded by all those they love, so many smiles on peoples faces and usually a good old dance at the end ... What's not to love.

So what can I say about this Bride & Groom and their wedding day? .... Amazing! Sammi and Carl are the perfect couple and their day was just perfect too.

I was over the moon when Sammi asked me to capture her big day. I got to know Sammi through her job as a hairdresser at Black Orchid, Shifnal. But I didn't actually meet Carl until the big day itself. Despite this I felt that I knew this couple for years. You could instantly see how much they loved each other and how much everyone who came to celebrate their wedding loved them.

These two are seriously cool. Both have the most Beautiful Tattoos. The groom wears his fully loaded beard well and they both have such a funky Style (just check out her amazing dress and his tweed!). Plus great taste in music and two gorgeous dogs who I'm sure would have loved to have joined them on their big day.

Not only is Sammi an amazing hairdresser, she is a talented designer. Check out their wedding stationary.  She created their own wedding logo which even made an appearance on the grooms earrings. Also take a look at her very cute pooch related table plan and table names, of their family dogs past and present.

I arrived at Madeley Court Hotel in the morning of the big day to meet a very very excited bride, getting ready with her gorgeous girls. The mother of the bride was there for her daughter throughout the morning.  You could see the two had such a special bond.  I know I would be delighted if I have a relationship like this with my two girls when they are older.  The extremely talented Josh and Aiden from Black Orchid were on hand to style the girls hair and the beautiful Sally Howe of Diamond Beauty, was applying their make up. What was lovely was these guys weren't just their to do a job, they were their for Sammi and it created such a lovely atmosphere.

The time soon came for Sammi to leave the hotel room. There was an emotional reunion with her father prior to him walking her across to the old mill where he then gave his only daughter away.

Carl looked slightly nervous waiting for his bride, but he didn't need to be.  It was a beautiful service in front of their families and friends in the old Mill. Sealed with a kiss, Carl and Sammi became the new Mr & Mrs Shelley.

After the ceremony the weather was a bit drizzly but it definitely did not dampen Sammi and Carl's spirits. We went for a walk around the grounds of the beautiful venue and then we were joined by the guests for formal shots and the fun confetti run!

It was then time for food followed by speeches which had people in tears of joy and tears of laughter. The Best Man Ruddy was indeed the best man for the job and had people howling. But you could see from his speech and also the father of the bride's speech, how much Sammi and Carl mean to them and all their family and friends.

To say these guys know how to through a party is an understatement. In the evening a lot of fun was being had with the photo booth. This wasn't just any photo booth but a converted old cab from Avago Booths. The Smoke Stop BBQ, Shrewsbury provided food from their big yellow van. They were dishing out the tastiest pork bap I have had in a good while. They also invited Deckheds to DJ the evening do. They definitely got the party started! I've never seen a dance floor go off like that after the first dance. Kungs - This Girl was definitely a hit with everyone, after it became an anthem from the stag and hen do's.

It was an amazing wedding and as well as those already mentioned, this was help by their florist Alexander Christina, Telford and Perfectly Unique, Telford who helped with decorating the venue. Everything just fitted together on the day, just like Carl and Sammi. I really enjoyed every minute.

Here's wishing the new Mr and Mrs Shelley many years of happiness together. Check out images from their awesome day!
