So twenty years ago whilst at college, I met Fiona. Little did I know that all those years later I would be capturing her big day.
Fi is gorgeous, funny, extremely intelligent, very sporty, a little geeky, loves travelling and is an awesome friend. So awesome, that when Fi, my camera and I took a trip to New York, she was super patient as I took a billion and one photos. I would have thought she would have been sick of the site of me and my camera, but obviously not.
I couldn't have been happier when Fi met Rik. They are so perfect for each other.
Just three weeks ago, surrounded by their family and friends, Fi & Rik became the new Mr & Mrs Loftus. They got married and celebrated at the gorgeous Rowton Castle, near Shrewsbury in Shropshire.
Rik looked very dapper in his tux and he was supported throughout the day by his big brother. You could see how much this day meant to him when Fi started to walk down the aisle with her father on her arm. Fi was followed by her three gorgeous bridesmaids, who not only provided laughter and tears with their joint speech during the wedding reception but also arranged a very entertaining hen do in Cheltenham.
Fi and Rik had worked so hard planning this day and it really paid off. Their choice of suppliers were perfect (even if I do say so myself).
All day I was joined by the super talented Aquilino Moreno Photography. Aki did not stop and captured so many stunning images of the happy couple around this beautiful venue. You need to check out this guys work, it is absolutely stunning.
Fi and Rik also invited Floodgate Films to video their day. It was an absolute pleasure working with Oliver, he is a real gent. I cannot wait to see the wedding film.
Obviously Fi and her bridesmaids are always gorgeous inside and out but they were given a little help with the hair and make up by the ever so lovely and super talented Kat from Urban Decay and Louise Price.
Nibbs and Eddy provided great entertainment after the ceremony and definitely got the celebrations going as people were singing and dancing with them outside. In the evening DJ Will Tudor did not have the dance floor empty.
It truly was an amazing day. Here to many years of health, wealth and happiness ... ... Mr & Mrs Loftus!
