Just over a week ago I got in my car (also known as the Mum Bus!), sang loudly along to One Direction (I am so use to playing this on every car journey due to my very demanding 4 year old) and headed over the border into the beautiful, idilic (but a little bit wet) Wales. I arrived at a stunning barn conversion with views to die for and was greeted by such a lovely family. The Hodsons!
It was a big family affair. The Grandparents (Joan & Barry), their son (Richard) and daughter (Jennie) and their partners (Lindsey & Andy) and all the grandchildren (Beth, Lara, Baylian and Bodhi). Lindsey had contacted me earlier in the year as she was interested in my 'Hometown Story' package after seeing her sisters family photos I had taken in and around their Shropshire home.
So when I arrived the whole troop donned their wellies and we all took a walk (and run and jump and piggy back ride) around the beautiful countryside surrounding the home. It was a bit overcast but we managed somehow to avoid the rain. Everyone was up for a bit of fun and I think the kids rather enjoyed racing their grandparents (and probably vice versa).
Here's just a few from our morning together ... ...
